Information We Collect We collect information in three ways: (a) you provide it to us; (b) we collect it automatically when you use the Services; and (c) we receive it from third parties. 2.1 Information you provide - Account information: username, password (hashed), email address, date of birth (for age-verification only), and any optional profile details you add. - Communications: content of messages you send to us, support requests, survey responses. - Purchase information: payment method details are processed by our payment processors (we do not store full card numbers); we receive transaction IDs, amounts, currency, and the items purchased. - User-generated content: any content you create, post, or share through the Services (e.g., display names, leaderboard entries, in-game communications, screenshots). 2.2 Information we collect automatically - Device and identifiers: device model, operating system, language, mobile carrier, time zone, IP address, advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID, Apple IDFA when permitted), device-generated identifiers, app installation ID. - Usage data: pages and screens viewed, gameplay events, session duration, in-game progression, level completions, items earned, crash logs, performance telemetry. - Cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies: we and our service providers use cookies, mobile SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, measure performance, and serve advertising. See Section 7. 2.3 Information from third parties - Ad networks and measurement partners: ad attribution data from networks (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Google, AppLovin) and mobile measurement partners (e.g., Singular). - Authentication providers: if you sign in via a third-party login (e.g., Google, Apple, Facebook), we receive the basic profile information that provider supplies based on your authorization. - Analytics and fraud prevention partners: aggregated and identifier-linked signals used to verify legitimate use and prevent abuse. --- 3. How We Share Information We share personal information with: - Service providers that perform functions on our behalf (cloud hosting, customer support tools, payment processing, analytics, fraud prevention, communications). They are bound by contract to use the data only as we direct. - Advertising and measurement partners including Meta, TikTok, Google, AppLovin/MAX, Unity Ads, ironSource, Mintegral, Singular, and similar networks and SDKs. These partners may use the information to serve and measure advertising, including across other apps and websites. Where required by law, we obtain your consent before sharing for advertising purposes. - Other users — your username, public profile information, leaderboard entries, and in-game activity are visible to other users by design. - Affiliates and successors — entities under common control with Hyve, and any successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. - Legal and safety — law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when (i) required by law, (ii) necessary to comply with legal process, (iii) to protect the rights, property, or safety of Hyve, our users, or the public, or (iv) to investigate or enforce violations of our Terms. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Some of our advertising practices (e.g., sharing identifiers with ad networks to serve targeted ads) may be considered a "sale" or "share" under California, Colorado, Connecticut, or other state privacy laws; you may opt out as described in Section 8. --- 5. Children's Privacy The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum digital age in your jurisdiction, e.g., 16 in some EU countries). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under the applicable age has provided personal information to us, please contact support@hyve.gg and we will promptly investigate and, if confirmed, delete the information. If a Hyve game is specifically directed at children under 13, additional COPPA-compliant disclosures and Verifiable Parental Consent procedures apply to that game and will be presented to parents at first use. Users under 16: if you are between the minimum digital age in your country and 16, you may use the Services only with the consent of your parent or legal guardian. We do not engage in targeted advertising to users we know to be under 16. --- 6. International Data Transfers Hyve is based in the United States. When you use the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your country. For EU/UK/Swiss users: we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable, and we apply additional safeguards as needed. Your choices: - Mobile devices: use your device's "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Reset/Delete Advertising ID" (Android) settings to limit ad personalization. - Browsers: block or delete cookies via browser settings; note that strictly necessary cookies cannot be blocked without breaking the Services. - EU/UK users: where required, we present a consent banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
